Delta, CO. (November 21, 2018) -- Big Machine Label Group President/CEO Scott Borchetta and BMLG Senior VP of Creative Sandi Borchetta joined the label’s Eli Young Band in Delta, Colorado this past weekend for a music celebration with the students and teachers of Lincoln Elementary School.
Through the Borchetta’s Music Has Value Fund – a fund created in 2016 for nonprofit organizations that support those who make music – 600 students will benefit from a generous donation in addition to 25 ukuleles for the school’s music department. Lincoln Elementary was just one of four schools in the area that received a donation from Music Has Value.
The check and instruments were presented to the students and their music teacher Nicole Scates. Eli Young Band performed three songs for the school and invited students on stage to perform their hit “Saltwater Gospel.”

“We created the Music Has Value fund for those who make music and those who empower people to make music,” stated Sandi Borchetta. “To see our vision for the fund to come to life at Lincoln Elementary was humbling. It was a great day to see so many kids smiling as a result of music.”
The students and teachers received Music Has Value t-shirts which were compliments of Big Machine Label Group and Richards & Southern in Nashville. Gibson Guitars helped fund the gift of 25 ukuleles.
